Blacky - Adopted22 viewsBlacky is a gorgeous male, also a staff favorite.
He is majestic and walks nicely on the leash.
Housebroken of course. Although many dogs
were outside, Blacky did not display ANY
aggression toward other dogs met outside or
through the pen. He takes gently food from the
fingers. Blacky knows his basic commands.
He is not at all hyper though lively. Very well
behaved dog, clearly owned.

the owner left no information about him when
they gave him up. He is approximately 2 years

Last summer, at 11 months of age he was surrendered to the NYC shelter because his owner was going through personal problems and could not keep him. At the shelter he got very sick so he had to be hospitalized. Once he recovered he found a home but they returned him to the shelter, explaining that he was not good with the children, and was too nervous with them.
