But luckily for him some of the volunteers saw thru his shyness that he's a really great dog. He obviously has been scared by his experience, but once shown kindness he really warms up to those who show some love. Madison16 viewsMeet Madison a 3 1/2 year old female Shepherd mix. Madison came to the shelter as a stray and was COVERED with ticks. After 3 tick/flea baths, the ticks were still falling off of her. Madison was very patient and allowed the good samaritans to help clean her up and make her tick free. She was thin and starving when she was found. Barnaby3 viewsBarnaby is a handsome, funloving hound who was born on April 26, 2008. He just celebrated his 2nd birthday. This guy looks calm and reserved, but remember, he is only 2 yrs old and every bit the youngster. He is tall and trim, quite lanky actually. Barnaby is so pretty. He got along nicely with the other greyhounds and also tested OK with cats. He will be a terrific addition to just about any home.

Dewey is not quite sure what to make of the cats, so we are not quite sure if she is good with them or not. She is calm but can also be a freindly girl. She will go us to most people she meets, but is not overly silly. She gets along well with other greyhounds.
